LINK BARRIER SYSTEM
The Link Barrier System is a unique design that benefits track operators and racers alike. Designed for Auto Ovals, Road Courses, Racing Karts, Concession Karts, Motorcycles, Pocket Bikes and Quarter Midgets. Quick setup and flexibility make almost any layout possible. Available in three heights, 18", 36" or 54". With our complete line of accessories, your track can be transformed into a unique and participant pleasing venue. Rotationally molded from UV stabilized polyethylene. Smooth surface is ideal for vinyl graphics making each barrier an advertising opportunity. Barriers are linked together with a unique giant plastic bolt and nut that features a 3/4" NPT in the top end allowing for attaching PVC pipe or frames for flags or banners. The Link Barrier System can also be used for controlling crowds, pit lanes, parking and traffic areas.
ENGINEERING
DT Engineering Associates Inc. performed two analyses on the Link Barrier System. Each analysis simulated the impact of a go-kart into the Link Barrier system. The first simulation was on a five link system and the second was performed on a single link. These simulations are for demonstration purposes only and are not representative of actual conditions.

2. Barrier Assembly Stress Movie - An impact to the center of the Barrier Link system and the resulting movement of the system. The color gradient maps the resulting stress on the system in pounds per square inch (psi). See video in video section.
3. Barrier Part Movie - An impact to the center of the Barrier Link and the resulting movement of the part. The color gradient maps the deflection of the part upon impact in inches. See video in video section.
4. Barrier Part Stress Movie - An impact to the center of the Barrier Link and the resulting movement of the part. The color gradient maps the stress of the part upon impact in pounds per square inch (psi). See video in video section.
